What a wonderful portrait you have taken of this friendly horse. There's nothing better than when nature comes to you. It's always so satisfactory to be nuzzled by a wild animal. I love the way you were able to catch his face in the sunlight even though the rest of his body isn't shadow. And I like the fact that you took his portrait up close and on an angle to give the composition depth of field.

This is a lovely portrait of a beautiful horse in winter. It's great he came to you for a good shot. Great focus and clarity; so natural. I'm surprised he doesn't have a blanket on!

Many thanks for your kind review! British horses do not need blankets!!

He does look like a good friendly horse. He stopped to pose for a portrait.
I think I would like it better if I could see his whole body, including his feet. But you did a good job, capturing him in his cold setting.

I am grateful for your nice review! Did get the whole horse because I would also have got the rough path next to it.

Interesting capture. The angle of the shot of this white house in the snow is great. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

I really love this scene. One of my dream shot of a horse in the ranch with a snowy foreground. Great focus and lighting showing clarity of textures and authentic colors. Point of improvement is just to increase negative space from the left hand side corner, for an extra moving space for your horse.

Good close up of this horse ]pity about the fence] do wonder though did you get a photo of it just in the field without the fence a portrait of its face would have been good as well...Brian

Lovely shot of this beautiful horse in the winter sunshine. He looks like he's ready for a chat or carrot. You've captured his inquisitive nature as he looks expectantly at you. Very good camera techniques presenting a lovely clear image. Suzanne

This is a beautiful shot of the horse. It looks like he wants to get out.:) You framed it well, and the light, shadows, colours, and composition worked well. Good effort!
