This is a great portrait of Morgan Freeman. You have really captured his expression and likeness very well. I know he would be impressed. Your technique at creating dimension and foreshortening with the charcoal is very well done. I especially like his beard. All your tiny little strokes make it look very real.

Hi Maureen, I knew the moment I saw this who you drew! This is Morgan Freeman. He isa great actor and I always enjoy seeing him. You did a great job of portraying him. His facial features are spot on. Anyone who knows Morgan should recognize him immediately. Very cool and awesome work!

Wow, just wow. This picture is very realistic and you did it in charcoal, a hard medium to work with. The lite and darkness gives the feel of reality. The depth is great here. Love the background being in a lighter color, this makes his face really stand out. The image really drew me in. Thank you for sharing.

How about I give you one more Hint? He is not only from Holly Springs, Mississippi (my home area neck of the woods) but he still maintains his house there. He is kinda a hero in the town. Now if you go 60 miles easy you arrive at Elvis Presley home town Booneville(suburb of tupelo) or go 40 miles to Memphis where access Kathy Bates and singer Justin Timberlake or how about go 40 miles south to Mound Bayou (Charlie Pride)..few more miles Shaw (Football legend Archie Manning) or just a few more miles to my hometown (Jim Henson). Kermit was based from his friend and classmate Kermit Scott. You know when your in the middle of nowhere flatland Mississippi Delta..it is depressing but amazing how many famous people come from my area..oh yeah did you know Oprah is Originally from Yazoo City? It's not a good área so I don't blame here adopting Chicago. So much for history and onto the review. The facial is great. The details is great. The shading is great. The depth is great. The presentation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. Creative and awesome work overall
