Wonderful, you know your trees. White birch are among my favorite trees. You captured the peeling back and thin dark branches very well. The background is vague enouugh to allow me to use my imagination as to what it is. The outlines are super. Very enjoyable.

I fell in love with this drawing at first glance. You've nailed the colors of these birch trees and those diverse and contrasting choice of colors in the background even made your subject to really stand out. Great title, Ray. Yes, it does look like a gathering of this group of birch tree in this spot. The landcape frame is well thought. Excellent drawing, painting skills and conceptualization. I enjoy the earthy scene. It is so refreshing. This is one of your best.

Goodness Ray, These birch look like the ones in my back yard! The snow really caused them to lean during the winter. Birch has always been a favorite tree of mine. Love the view here! I can picture these on the edge of a field or just on the edge of a pond. Love the slant you put on these.

They sort of seek their own space. Nancy thank you for this wonderful review. When I was younger they were in my back yard too, with their tubular seed pods haning all over the place. I am so glad you enjoyed it. Ray
