Hi Deanster, You certainly sound like you just had oodles of fun taking this shot! I can imagine you missing a LOT of shots! The nice thing is, is that it paid off! It was almost comical, trying to keep my camera dry and still whip it out right before the waves popped up. It did get a little wet but nothing major. Also made sure to leave my best camera in my hotel room. This was captured with my 4 or 5 year old Canon EOS R.

Thanks, Nick. This was captured on the far east end of the jetty located at the southern tip of South Padre Island in Texas with a view to the north.
