A beautiful picture of the Song Sparrow it's head turned towards you with the light sparkling in it's eye. While highlighting it's plumage standing out from it's background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

He's a plump little chap isn't he. A very common bird that we tend to ignore but this shot reminds me that perhaps we shouldn't dismiss these little birds. A lovely shot Alaska, sharp and perfectly exposed.
