Interesting capture. The clarity is good. The angle of the shot of these colorful flowers is good. The capture of the light is good. The presentation is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and good job overall

Hi Charlotte, I look at this and I hear playing in the back ground, "The hills are alive with the sound of music". The music is your wild flowers. Very nice photo. Ray

Ha ha ha yes, in fact Julie Andrews was just the other side of the ridge, singing her heart out!
Thanks for your review Ray.

I love the presentation of these wildflowers with a backdrop of a mountain and the sky. The dark shadow at the foreground added so much depth in this scene, too. This is a unique entry and I wish you the best in this contest, Charlotte.

A nice scenic view of the countryside and a bank of wildflowers. However, unfortunately the viewer cannot see the detail of the flowers as they are so distant. Good luck in the contest.

Hi Charlotte, I really like the landscape here. The little bit of color from the flowers creates a pretty ridge against the mountains. I think the look is unusual and very interesting to view. Sometimes breaking the rules gives you a view that has such a unique look, you just have to capture it! Nice job and definitely fun to view! :o) Nancy

As a composition, this post is very beautiful. However, your focal point unfortunately, is definitely not the flowers. It is the mountains in the distance. The viewer's eye goes directly to them. Being that this is a contest for flowers, you might
want to consider cropping the flowers to make them the focal point and not the entire landscape. I do like how you were able to capture the flowers and their greenery in the Sun. That does help set them apart from the mountains which are giving a great depth of field to the composition. Best of luck in the contest.

Thank you very much ABG, you're absolutely right but as I've posted beautiful close-ups of flowers before without much success, I thought I'd try something a bit different :)

I've just posted the first one, but most of the colour seems to have drained out of it once posted - Ugh I hate how photos come out so different on FAR compared to the original. But hey ho
-
its because i feel we have to reduce them don,t have to do that on other sites
-
I've just posted another one for you, but same again, it looks totally washed out - so annoying!

A very lovely visual presented here of this early morning sunrise. The flowers are definitely highlighted by the way you've presented them. Interesting to view. Good luck in the contest.

You've got an eye for nature photography! The framing works beautifully, and the blend of light, shadows, and vibrant colours makes this shot stand out. Good luck!
