Haha, nice one Ray, I believe him. He has a very honest face. Not to mention that innocent grin. All that is missing is a can of worms by his foot. Love the imagination. Thanks for the smile :)

Ha ha ha good one Ray! Are you sure you've extended the arms wide enough? Having known a few fishermen in my time I'm sure most of their fish are way bigger than that!!! LOL
A wonderful drawing that brought a real smile to my face. Thank you for sharing and for that smile.

Ray, this is a really sweet portrait of this fisherman whose catch got away. It's warm and inviting and also a little whimsical. I really like the expression on his face. It certainly shows he's not a sore loser. Though, it's a very simple drawing, you have presented enough detail in what you have drawn very well, making it a very interesting piece of artwork.

Thank you Brian, for your fine review, it is funny I wanted to go wider myself but his hands would be out of the picture, so I felt everyone would under stand. I am glad you like it. Ray

Everyone loves a good story when it got comes to fishing! I am no exception. I remember going with my brother standing over a bridge and fishing with a bunch of people. I must've had the right lower because I was the only one who ended up with five beautiful jackfish which my mother was appreciative when I brought them home. Your composition shades colours and presentation is very well done. Thank you for sharing.

Your paint and ink work has a unique rhythmâ€"there's both confidence and grace in every stroke. It's a beautiful reminder that technique, when combined with passion, creates timeless art." I love it, Ray. Once upon a time, I was into making similar artworks.

No matter how big!
No matter how small!
A fisherman's story is always quite tall!
Hi Ray, After seeing your image this little poem popped into my head. Love the humor in this! I think the drawing is great! Love the sparseness of the paint! In my eyes you dressed this fisherman perfectly! Love the look! Thus reminds me of my brother he loves to go fishing and always has a story to tell! LOL Just had to give you a six for this one!

You've drawn a handsome and young fisherman, here, Ray. I like how you have dressed him up with that denims and with a tuck-in shirt. This bench overlooking the ocean is a nice play to rest. Excellent choice of realistic scene and colors. The details are well-defined and well conceptualized. A painting with a story to tell.
