Wow. This is amazing, and you drew it with pastel which isn't the easiest material to work with. This is very whimsical. I love the light reflected off th wings. She seems to jump right off th page. Thank you for sharing.

I can imagine walking into a high end art gallery and seeing this beautiful painting hung for display.
This is just stunning , Maureen, so very well executed to show the queen of the fairies at night, I love the hints of gold and the way it glows in the moonlight , her pose is so graceful. I love the way you filled the frame.
Very well rendered with such incredible attention to every detail, beautiful show of the light and shadows.

The pastel quality is quite nice in this one maureen wonder what she represents in this,looks like some sort of fairy queen,sometimes without a description it is not always easy to decipher what the artist/photographer is trying to get over[its something i got pulled up a few years ago so try explain my stuff more now]...Brian
