Hi Ray. I love gladiolus and Vaseline glass! I like the way you arranged the flowers and the colors you chose. Against the dark blue-green background the flowers really stand out! Hi Nancy. So glad you enjoy it. The glads were stored just like this where I worked, all different colors, in tin containers or Vaseline glass vases. I learned a lot in that florist shop at 14. Thank you for your wonderful review, compliments and artistic thoughts. Ray

What a gorgeous grouping of glads, i love the variety of colors and especially the chunky Vaseline vase, it contrasts beautifully with the tall, stately flowers, and you know you need a sturdy vase to hold a bunch of glads! Love the semi transparency quality of the glass, I can see flower stems inside. A perfect entry for this contest, Ray, wishing you all the best!

LeeAnn, thank you so much for your wonderful review, rating and compliments. My first job in high school was at a landscaping and flower shop on long Island that serviced the Gold Coast, North Shore. The Glads were stored in large green vases in the walk-in along with roses, mums, carnations and orchids. I am so 'glad' you enjoyed it. Ray
