Well I would say the seas are Rough for sure! this is exactly the type of day on the sea I would be afraid of ! Those waves sometimes just pop up out of nowhere!
Anyway, Mark, this is amazing ! it grabs the viewers attention, the viewer is in awe knowing that it was created with bic -pens and sharpie ! I even showed this to my husband and he was quite impressed.
I love the scene , the way you show those waves, the sailboat , the sunset sky and yes, I see the brave little funnie flower sitting there in back !
This is an outstanding piece, with wonderful choice and application of the colors . It's very well arranged and presented! This was so much fun to view!

I know where my little flower girl is. She's sitting right in the front of the schooner. Who do you think is steering this ship anyway? Mark, this is a really great cartoon you have drawn. It's very realistic looking for a cartoon. Your sense of space and foreshortening, give it lots of depth and dimension. Your ability to portray shadows, movement and light are just wonderful. It is full of realistic looking waves, and it leaves the viewer hoping that the ship makes it through safely. Well done, my friend, you are so talented.

This is a great piece. No I did not find your happy flower, unfortunately. I definitely will say that these are rough seas. I don't think the boat will make it. I love the waves. The sky is very nice. There is real dimension to this piece. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Mark, I see the little guy in the back of the boat. Oh No! Looks like the poor little guy is trying to sail the ship all by himself! That is one big tidal wave coming his way! How in the world is he going to make it through this predicament! YIKes!!!
Love the detail in the waves and how you added some darkness on the left making the wave even more ominous! I also like the peek-a-boo glimpse of the sun! The colors of the sky make me think this was a nice day with a tsunami coming out of nowhere! Very cool and fun image!

Hi Mark, I see the little guy in the back of the boat. Oh No! Looks like the poor little guy is trying to sail the ship all by himself! That is one big tidal wave coming his way! How in the world is he going to make it through this predicament! YIKes!!!
