Summer is not the first I am thinking of when I look at this image, even if I appreciate that storms like this also happens in this season. Still I think this is a digital painting with a strong visual impact, and I especially like the feeling of motion.

It is great textures to be seen and I like how well the branches of the tree are standing out. I also like the flying birds you have added at the top.

The tall format is perfect and it is a very good flow and balance in the composition. A truly dramatic looking and well done digital Allan, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thanks Annie, this was a bit out of my jenre but getting our side the box is good once in a while. I had read recently that doing the same thing all of the time is very detrimental to the brain. It seems to get lazy and less motivated.

You have captured the stormy effect perfectly. I feel the movement of the rain as it pelts the ground. That is not easy feat to accomplish. Composition is very well thought out. . Thank you for sharing.
