This is awesome! It tells the story so well , the cat sits anticipating that fresh fish . I love the way the cat is positioned close to the nets .
You have photographed this so well with spot on focus , this image is sharp and clear and your exposure is correct, the nets and the cat are standing out from the silvery sand .
Well composed and presented!

Thanks so much Pat for the nice review and high rating, glad you liked it. I believe I took this in Sorrento, Italy. The blue nets seem to be a signature of the Mediterranean area. The cat does look well fed!

This is a photo that could easily have been taken in Greece, and I think you have pictured so well the cat together with the fishing nets. I like the neutral colors of the background and how well the nets and the cat are standing out from it.

This is also a sharp photo showing such clear and well defined details in both the nets and the cat. The colors are crisp and clear and the exposure is perfect.

The format and framing is very good, and with the cat placed off to the right it is a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo Allan, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise to see a review from you again!!!
I noticed your last FAR post was from April 20 and your name did not show up in the membership list. I thought maybe you had dropped our of our FAR family. If this means you are back, hurray!!

You have a good eye, the blue fishing nets are a real give away for the Mediterranean Sea area. This was taken in Sorrento, Italy best I can remember. We did an NCL cruise there years ago. I can see why you go to Greece year after year.

So I hope it is "Welcome back".
