Oil painting husky sleeping

Makes you want to be sleeping next to this Husky and follow it where ever it needs to go. As a Veterinarian had many dogs fall asleep in my arms after surgery, many saved, too many lost in my own hands.

Elisabetta this is a fine oil painting of the sleeping Husky. We all have piles of unworthy or unfinished paintings. I like your general idea. The bright trees steal the attention away from the Husky and I believe he is the main attraction, and this is a minor point. Very nice you have a beautiful painting here. The best of luck in the contest

Hi Elisabetta , welcome to FanArt! Love the setting of your painting. I like the way you placed the husky between the birch trees. The way the husky is curled up looks very natural, as well asbots coloration. Nice detail in his coat. I'm thinking that the golden glow is moon glow which adds a calming effect to the image. On the whole the image is nicely done. Good Luck on the contest!

A lovely depiction of a Husky dog curled up and sleeping in the woods. Dogs (even domesticated) automatically sleep curled up to protect their vital organs. This shows a husky enjoying a nap.

Such a gentle scene of this Husky peacefully sleeping in the woods. I like the overall scene as it calms my heart and mind. The choice of colors are pretty subtle and the light and dark shades were wisely used. The details are pretty defined especially the thick textures of the coat of the husky, the bark of the trees and the snowy foreground. Excellent painting techniques and skills. The elements of your composition are well-arranged and well-placed in the frame. An exceptional piece. Cheers!

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Being a Brit I do not know what a husky is!!? To me it looks like a dog or a wolf? Well taken!

A quarter of a century in the making? This must be a world record! Contrats:) Your colour choices are both daring and harmoniousâ€"each hue seems to dance with the next. This painting feels alive, and your attention to detail is commendable. Good luck!
