This is a great painting. I like how the rock is in the center and it looks like it is far away. I love the movement you created with the crashing waves. The stormy sky is beautiful. There is amazing depth to this painting. Thanks for sharing.

I can tell you really enjoy creating stormy skies, you do it very well. All aspects of this are created well. There's lots of movement in the ocean surf and swells, and incredible depth thanks to your ability to portray foreshortening and shadow. This is a wonderful piece of art, I'm sure your friend appreciated it.
