Hi Nieves, I've always wanted to do this! How cool is it to take a shot from behind the waterfall!. Love the angle of the shot and the way the flow of the water came out. The whole scene is pretty. Great shot for the unexpected angles contest! :o) Nancy

Thanks, Nance. You need a filter to get the long exposure. It is a must. Second, you need to be in the waterfall after the rain, and early morning, or overcast. Even the morning sun can be harsh and can destroy your photo, even though you will set your f/ to the max. Most of the photographers used their tripod. I don't. Have fun. Looking forward to see your first waterfall photo. Have a rested evening. -Nieves-

What a beautiful scene you have captured. The colors are rich and vibrant without being oversaturated and the angle at which you shot this gives the viewer a different perspective than the norm. Exposure is well handled, imagery is sharply focused, subject matter is interesting and compelling.

I think any waterfall is beautiful thing of nature. The peaceful sound of the water, the beautiful scenery of the water and plants around it. Beautiful picture, thank you for sharing! Good luck in the contest!

Hi Nieves,
A very nice idea for this contest - I've tried those sort of shots a few times, not easy!!
Seeing the water from behind and tumbling into that pool makes a very lovely scene, and the colours are very natural looking, but I'm wondering whether it's my eyes or is the background rather blurry from too slow a shutter speed? It doesn't look like bokeh but more of a movement blur. Sorry if I'm wrong!
Good luck in the contest.
Charlotte

Thanks, Charlotte. Appreciate the sweet review. I brushed off some distractions at the background with no expectation. I settle for just the overall greenery background. ( no intention to present every leaves to be vivid because I only focus on the flow of the the pristine water. Usually, my camera setting would blurred the background, too.

This is a lovely and unusual view of a waterfall from a different angle. You have captured the falling water and its impact on the pool well. The greenery in the background ads depth to the photograph. Good luck in the contest.
