This is a great drawing in pastel which is a hard medium. I can really get the sense of movement in this piece. I love the highlights. The drinks in the shirt are very real. The background adds a lot to this piece. There is wonderful depth as well.

Oh my goodness !this is so awesome Maureen! This brings back such wonderful memories of when my son was about 12 and he and his friends used to break dance.it was so much fun to watch! This is so well rendered !it's a fantastic entry fir this contest! The young boy is so well shown as he is busting some moves!
