Wow well done Pat, for capturing this Arctic Tern while in the air, they're so tiny it's not easy!
They nest on one of the Frane Islands in Northumberland (where I used to live), along with puffins, gillimots etc., which is open to the public and I have seen them swooping down and pecking visitors heads - most amusing if you're not the target!! Lol
Nicely framed, with natural colours - so nice with just the sky as a backdrop - and good lighting.
