very nice. the angle of the shot of this yellow flower is great. i like the highlight that you did. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

This is a beautiful rendition of a tulip from the tree with sharp outlines of the petals and stamens. The dark green leaves in the background are a great contrast to the yellow flower.

Hi Nancy, where I grew up there was an abandoned nursery and there was a tulip tree and it was tall and beautiful. This is what it looked like exactly. You have enhanced this and it has a 3d effect. the colors you used yellow and orange center work so well against the green and black background and it glows. A magical and fantastic presentation. thank you for sharing this beauty.

Hi Ray, The first time I saw a Tulip tree was about 3 years ago. I was walking at my local park and came across one in full bloom. I was amazed by the size of the flowers. I've been back thee every year since. In this shot the flower was low enough for me to pull down the branch and peek over the edge of the flower. I held the branch with one hand and shot the image with the other.

Hi Nik, This isn't actually a tulip. This bloom grows on a tree and resembles a tulip so much they call the tree it grows on a "Tulip Tree.
