Nicely drawn. The tornado looks as though it were in action. I love the cars. The house is also nicely drawn. There is nice dimension here. Thank you for sharing.

your probably talking about a different area but if someone said Cordova and vicious tornado i would have said oh Cordova, Tn? thats a suburb of Memphis and they get all the tornadoes you want..wink.lol. cool creation. the building, cars and tornado form is good. the depth is good. the details is good. the blend of the colors is good. the presentation is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. creative and good job overall.

Thank you so much! Also, no this is a small town in Alabama called Cordova. There was a whole documentary about it when they were discussing the tornadoes that happened on that day.

im sure..over the years there are endless documentaries. on record the longest and deadliest tornado happen back in the 50's..it started in Missouri and ended in illinois traveling over 100 miles and hit a school killing a few children and parents..that tornado prompted or government to come up with an early warning system. Weather Channel did a documentary on it some years back. maybe you will find it on google. wink

Yessir, the Tri-State tornado! Traveled over 100 miles (I think 250), took 695 lives (probably was more, they didn't do a good job keeping records). Laid waste to multiple towns and cites. Even destroying 100% of 3 different towns

As with the other post earlier about the tornado, I really feel that the hurricane needs to appear more ominous than is seen here. It needs to stand out, command attention and really grab the viewer's eye at first glance. All of the colors you are using work very well together, but they all have the same value and intensity. Contrast is needed to make the tornado come to life. Your ability to convey foreshortening is perfect, your attention to detail is good and you're notes are very helpful. Give the creature life.

Thank you very much! I will try with the next tornado drawing. I try with bolden the colors but I might need some stronger color pencils. But I will figure it out, to make it pop more.

Mother nature can be very cruel can't she. I feel for these people. I can't imagine the horror that they were facing. I'm glad that you do drawings to highlight these wonders. Thank you for sharing.

What a gripping visual you've paintedâ€"with both words and your sketch! The way you've captured the sheer power and eerie motion of the tornado is truly commendable. I'm looking forward to your EF4 seriesâ€"your art tells stories that must not be forgotten. Stay inspired!
