This is completely awesome Ray! I love the colors and the position of the goldfish as it forages for food!
This is just plain fun to look at , I can imagine it hung for display , it would be such a great focal point.
Very well created and I love the square format .

I remember a pair of goldfish we had when I was little, John and George; this one looks a lot like George; a nice plump little goldfish! I love the interesting background, it's perfect to set off Goldie searching thru some water plants for some tasty tidbits. I can almost see her tail fin waving back and forth as she swims along. A really beautiful painting, Ray, it puts a smile on your face!

I remember a pair of goldfish we had when I was little, John and George; this one looks a lot like George; a nice plump little goldfish! I love the interesting background, it's perfect to set off Goldie searching thru some water plants for some tasty tidbits. I can almost see her tail fin waving back and forth as she swims along. LOL, now this is my genre. I love fish paintings.
My interpretation is that Goldie is diving toward the bottom looking for a food source. The abstract tail is very attrachtive. The color pattern is very good, a mix of complementary and analogous, works every time.

Hi Jewell, Glad you like this. This is a repaint from my pile. the original was an experiment with complimentary colors. I looked at this and felt all it needs is a fish. Thank you for your kind thoughts and questions. There is nothing new with this technique, jusst my style.
