Well it is different for sure and yes people do put in flowers for color contests [which i feel is a cop out] but that aside whether this works or not can,t say but it is blue and kudos for thinking outside the box.....Brian

Hi Aimee, This isn't bad but you know what you can do to make it better? Place the mermaid a little more upright. Trace a small amount of water where you want her to be and save it.You can place that piece of water
over part of her and make it whatever level of transparency you want it to be. It will look like she's coming out of the water. You'll still see her whole body but some of it will appear under water. It's just an idea but you get a brand new look. I think your mermaid is cute. I would have put your dolphin a little higher too but this is not a bad attempt. Those are just my personal thoughts. I enjoyed! Good luck in the contest! :o)

Amazing scene. I like how you have added the mermaid and its ride, the dolphins. The blue ocean made a nice entry to this Something Blue Contest. High conceptualization and story telling ability.
