Beautiful colourful summer scene of the fireweed in the foreground of the sea and mountains.
If it were me I may have erased the top of the fireweed thar wasn't flowering to give an unhindered view of the gorgeous blue water and mountains. Nevertheless lovely capture Pat!

Wow, what a truly beautiful scene! The depth of field is amazing, you have such a good eye Pat. The bold colors of the flowers up front grab the viewer's attention immediately and lead the eye into the bold mountains in the background, which although surrounded by mist are still quite a site to behold.

Hi Pat, I love the way the fireweed brightens up the scene! Love the mountains too and the beautiful blue sky! I also love the angle you shot this from. Your excellent focus and lighting really allow us to enjoy the scene. Would so love to pull up a chair and just sit there for a while! I so enjoy the view! :o) Nancy

This is a beautiful view you've captured. I love the foreground of purple flowers. The mountains in the background are so interesting with clouds floating in front of them. The colours are perfect as is the balance. Well done!

Hi Pat, this is a beautiful shot of the fireweed rising above. There is a bit of haze but that adds to the reality. The mountains and the blue sky are strong and reflecte on the water. Very nicely presented. Ray

Beautiful. One half foreground and one-half background on an angle. Two tall blooms on the right versus one tall bloom on the left overseeing a field of blooms and greenery in the foreground provides a feeling of being solidly on the ground while looking at that ethereal distant mountain scene with the mountain peak higher than the clouds is simply magnificent. This picture makes me wish I could return there. Reasons for my six-star vote.

What a stunning capture of the Bay. During my 15-day cruise to Alaska in 2018, I encountered similar scenes. Simply beautiful. I will share them here soon.
