Beautiful shot! It is bold and bright and dramatic in the way you have taken this. The sunlight on the petals of the lily really grabs the viewer's attention and the rest of the plant waiting to come out of the shadows and be kissed by the sun is very interesting looking, almost surreal. Great framing of this well thought out composition.

love the title..what is funny i remember one "Funnie Flowers" skit i dressed up some Tiger Lilies like they are kung fu warriors with swords..normally i would know the title off the bat but i think i called it "Bansai!" your titled with this image sparked that memory..wink. nice capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of these colorful lilies is great. the capture of the light is greatr. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Thanks so much for the great review. Indeed, this image needed an appropriate title or it would have been judged as being underexposed. The darkness was the theme.
