Phyllis you have done a stellar job portraying this Mother Lima and her new born. You have a wonderful eye for details of the main event which is good. The background occupies 3/4 of the picture needs more than just being brown with no shadows or details or habitat and I think that would enhance your work amazingly and it would anchor your finely render Lemur. What a tender, beautifully captured momentâ€"there's so much soul in this painting.
