nik dont jump! just take the picture..lolol. just couldnt resist..the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the walkway of the side of the ship is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A very dramatic shot indeed. The long view of the wooden deck is quite awe inspiring, with beautiful colors and textures shown. The angle of the shot shows how massive the Queen Mary is. Would love to sail on her one day.

I do appreciate you kind review! Yes, she is the best ship that we have ever sailed on.

Very dramatic indeed! Spectacular shot. The viewer's eye is immediately drawn in by the ships decking and follows it all the way out to the sea. There is great contrast not only in color, but in texture as well. The wood flooring of the deck is bold and sure of itself, while the sea is calm and soothing. Technically perfect as well. Imagery is sharply focused, exposure is well handled, colors are vibrant and rich, without being over saturated and framing of the subject matter is spot on.

how long does it take you to reach the states. I'm curious as I've never done a ship cruise. I get Sea sick so it isn't my thing. Your composition shades colors and presentation is well done. Thank you for sharing.

It took us a week to sail across the Atlantic. The ship is so big that we hardly felt the waves when they were big. Thanks for your kind review!

although i quite like this one,and having been on cruises before always good to wander round and take photos, this one i think i would have taken this before the people got to far away ]in other words make them more prominent in the photo] this i feel would have made for something just different....Brian

Thanks for your interesting review! I was disappointed that the people were there. I wanted an empty deck, but did not get one. They lingered there for a long time.

Pretty artistic framing placement of this Queen Mary's long deck. Focus is superb and the angle is great. You've really showcased the materials of the floor of this long wooden deck with clarity. Great lighting and focus, too. The ocean and the sky are beautiful and so tranquilin this scene. Well done, Nik.

Your horizon line feels like a fusion of hope, memory, and time. It's how the sea makes us feel, and you've caught that beautifully. Well done!
