I really like this one a lot Ray!
Great Initial and visual impact. Excellent creativity and presentation. Excellent colors and harmony. Very good center of interest and storytelling ability. Excellent highlight and shadow work. Great technique and high technical excellence. One small suggestion would be to put your horizon line down to about the one third mark at the bottom for a better composition.

Paul, thank you for your in depth review and wonderful comments. I understand your comment about 1/3 and I tried to crop it that way but I felt That I would loose too much of of the water feature. But I do thank you for help in that matter and I will remember that for the future. Ray

This is so cool, it just makes me feel so relaxed. Who does not like a sunset over a spectacular natural setting as this march. The cloud shape and the sun relfection seal the deal for me. The blue/orange complementary colors don't hurt either! Nice.

I love what a bit of white does for a water painting! This is glorious. At first glance I thought it was a photograph. But saw the details with gel pen after I pulled it closer. (I'm having eye sight problems)
Those white pens are a must have!

Jewell thank you for your wonderful review, rating and compliments. I a so happy you could see this one . when I use the gel pen is is like adding light to the painting and if you wipe it quickly it gives a soft glow. If you make a mistake You can use a damp brush and the ink comes right up until it cures which takes a couple of days. Very versatile. Size 08 works very well. I am so sorry you are having trouble with your eyes, maybe that's why you missed the ghost but your eyes are very important. Thank you again. Ray

Your touch of realism to this abstract really does justice to this work of art. I really enjoy seeing essentially two pictures within one. It causes my eyes to bounce up and down thereby giving the painting a sense of looking at a fore real strange and beautiful landscape through a window. And I think your choices of colors, shapes and subdued tones are just excellent. Reasons for my six-star rating.

Ray, I really love the choice of colors of the Marsh land and the smooth water in it with the reflection of the green leaves. You've showcased the rustic elegance of this place with realistic elements especially those white water plants underwater and some dried twigs in the foreground. A joy to view.
