Ray Gordon: Music and the arts are essential. They make the journey interesting and they are an enjoyable means of communication. They are the product of people reaching out, expressing themselves and baring their souls.

We are oh so lucky to have such a diverse collection of expression to cherish and enjoy.

Art is one of the oldest means of recordable non verbal communications known. As an artist I create with both form and whimsy. The work created bears the statement and comes in all forms and sizes. After doing Figure Drawing, Portraits, Sculpture and large murals, I have chosen acrylic on paper. I use several combinations of color and I rarely use black. My style, as I call it, is Abstract Fantasy. I love the way colors layered together create unique combinations. I feel like these various images are a part of an alternate world or universe, defined by a system very different from our own.
