Had every intention of posting a flower image today but got up this morning and could see in the pre-dawn light that all my trees were sparkling. A few hours later there was such an amazing blue sky to go along w/ all the sparkly trees that I decided to brave the cold and get some new winter photos.

The image here (taken earlier today) shows a portion of my drive approximately half way between my gardens and the outside world. On such a crisp, clear and beautiful morning it was easy to feel the sheer tranquility around me. I particularly liked this image because of the tall, strong Maple Tree on the left. I only wish you could see all the deer tracks going up and down my road as well.
