Another nice rendition of the tornado. I love how the tornado looks. I can see it swirling around. The houses are likely drawn. There is awesome dimension to this piece. Thanks for sharing.

Another impressive presentation of a small town going through the tornado experience. I love the drawing with this black and white presentation that shows all the details beautifully.

Is this what you saw and felt? I wouldn't been able to stand there and not seek shelter, lived in the Eastern foothills of Colorado and tornados were rare, wind and blizzards were not. Winds up to 120 miles per hour. the Wyoming natives would say the wind is not blowing until you have white caps in the toilet. One time had 5 ft of snow in my backyard. Spring break and couldn't drive out for a week, built the kids a snow castle in the back yard, boy did it hurt to shovel 5 ft of snow off the drive way but all the neighbor kids dug tunnels through it. Snowboarded own it into the streets for days.

I don't live in Mississippi (where this tornado happened at). This drawing was from a photograph taken from a lady who lives there. If you go on Google and type in Smithville Tornado 2011 the actual photograph will pop up. The draw this picture and put my own touch on it to showcase the strength of this tornado. This information was also from research and a documentary I watched on this tornado from the April 27, 2011 "Super Outbreak". Thank you so much for the rating! I greatly appreciate it!

I am truly impressed by the detail and cleanliness of the lines in this artwork, particularly when it comes to the houses and the intricate brickwork. The concept of a tornado swirling through the neighborhood in the background is fantastic. It allows the viewer to gain insight into the unfolding drama while still maintaining their perspective from the outside. Pencil is such a wonderful medium to work with. It is both basic and universally accessible. With the right skill, it can be transformed into a masterpiece like this one. I appreciate the clear narrative behind this piece, especially since some other works I have reviewed have lacked that compelling story. The technique of shading is executed beautifully, and even the depiction of the tornado itself looks impressive. I also admire how you captured the movement of the trees toward the tornado, showcasing an awareness of the scene's dynamics. As for suggestions, I do not have many beyond experimenting with other mediums. Charcoal could be a great option, as it is relatively similar to pencil. When you are ready, consider incorporating color if it fits the piece. Overall, this is an outstanding work.

Good afternoon
Awesome looking tornado
You show the destruction that will happen to these homes beautifully

I feel like reading a newspaper while reading the artist notes. It is pretty detailed and informative. I like how you have drawn the tornado at the back of the neighborhood. That tornado in your drawing looks gigantic indicative of its power to damaged and even cause death. I enjoyed how you've shades the roof and how you've drawn those bricks. Excellent drawing techniques and depth of substance.

Thank you very much! The actual picture I got this from is on Google. Look up "Smithville Tornado" and this should one of the top images that pops up. I want to draw all of the major twisters that hit the US and try to give the most detail notes as possible.
-
I like your vision. Maybe someday you can write a book with your drawings. We were severely damaged by the one that visited us about six weeks ago. In our city alone the damaged is 33.6 million. We've lost two cars and damaged our newly installed solar panel and the roof. An unwelcome guest.
-
Thank you very much! I think I want to probably make like a photo book with all the tornadoes that I have drawn
-
Yes. That sounds like a plan.
-
Ok, imma trytl that when I get all the pictures drawn

The house and tornado form is good. The depth is good. The details is good. The shading is good. The creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative approach and good job overall

Devonte, tis amazing all the damage these tornados caused. This was back in 2011 and it wiped out Hackleburg, Alabama. The destruction was mind boggling. Thank you for sharing you account and sketch. Ray
