Certainly a lot of work to get this photo done. Excellent look a like of the moon, good colour and shadow on the orchid. Nice job.

Very dramatic image with the minimalist approach you have taken. Excellent in terms of originality and creativity. It took much thought and preparation to create this image. Good luck in the contest!!

High on creativity. A great entry with the use of the light. A simple but original and artistic presentation. Love that pinkish bulb, popping out of the darkness, facing the subtle Moon. Well done.

Genius, sheer genius. I so love creativity and this fits the bill. This is the perfect example of a shot that needs notes. Without notes I would have nailed you. I have been a crusade to have some very talented members put some notes so we can figure out what is happening so we can review with information rather guessing. Now back to your shot. The orchid bud being lit just a touch is almost eerie. With the moon light casting its light, I am expecting the werewolf to howl any time. Love your creativity and the thinking out of the box.

Thank you! I appreciate your review and encouragement very much! I actually heard a werewolf, but than discovered it was my dog, needing a walk.
I absolutely agree about notes! Especially unusual creations are hard to review if we do not have any data. I have personally learned a lot just by understanding how others do their work.

What an interesting photo. The glow of the moon and the pink of the orchid are a striking contrast, well done, I really like this

What a clever composition! You have achieved absolutely the effect you set out to acieve. It is a truly lovely study with the silvered moonlight just touching the splash of vividly-coloured buds.
