Like the sepia tones of the image and the composition showing the concentration of the banjo player well. Good stop action and your focus is also good.

Fantastic capture showing sharp focus and crisp details.
White balance is spot on and your choice of a Vintage like sepia style was a good one.
I have two minor things that I like to point out for the "next" time. To step back a bit to get his left hand inside the frame and to clone out that blurry rope bottom right corner.
Fine work behind your lens ;)

This is an excellent entry into this Music contest. The clarity and focus is spot on. I love the sepia filter that has been applied. The light on the instrument is superb, as is the composition. All the best in the contest!

Great entry for the Music contest. The use of sepia tones and a vignette turns the clock back to the 1860's.
Catching his intent on his playing and head down is so natural. The lighting is great, and the tight crop fill the scene. The photo is most enjoyable.

This was a very popular instrument at the time of the civil war. A three finger picking patter or claw pulling were the preferred methods of playing.. Very nice photo. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest. Ray
