I think this is a painting with a very strong visual impact because of the vibrant colors of the field of flowers. I especially like the sky you have created and also the flying butterflies on each side of the girl.

I also like the fine textures of the field and how well you have used high lights in the sky. Very good attention to details as well.

The format and framing is perfect, and in this case also the centered position of the girl works well. I think this is a truly lovely and well done painting Jewell.

Jewell, this is a beautiful scene you have created. A young lady traversing a field of sunflowers, fixated on the big sky before her and the sun demanding to be seen. The white butterflies have gathered to insure their guidance. Very nice. Ray

Well, Jewell, If this is not a mesmerizing piece, I can't imagine what one would look like.

I LOVE the way you have formed a vignette of clouds around the sun. The similar hues of yellow between both the sun and the sunflowers is very creative. You have used a blue sky to contrast the scene and to offer more creative design.

I like how the back of the girl is walking into the sun and blue sky, as though she is needing a place of resolve and meditation.

Wonderfully done - hats off to you for this wonderful piece of art.

This is pretty surreal and the substance is deep. This girl can be any of us, longing for some light and actually find it. I love the abundance of the sunflower field blossoms and the way that you have choose the light blue as the background, which created a striking contrast in your frame. The girl and the white birds added so much life and story in your composition. I love how you have painted the layers and textures of the clouds. Excellent drawing and painting techniques, depth of substance, and high on storytelling potentials. A painting with a message to tell.

Thank you so very much! This is the type of painting that makes me want to turn around and just paint another surreal scene! It was a lot of fun. I’m so happy you liked it. Thank you for that. Beautiful sixth shining star.

Oh my goodness ! This is incredible! I love the message this brings, it's so positive and you chose the perfect elements to show the women running to the light of a brighter day! The sunflower field is gorgeous and so well created with excellent attention to every detail, the sky is alive with the clouds moving over the blue and forming a wreath around the bright light! We see the movement of the woman by looking at her hair and dress .
This is beautiful and I love the positive message! Very well presented! This is truly a pleasure to view!

Girl walking into the sunshine in a field of sunflowers! Butterflies too! MY heart would be soaring in a wonderful atmosphere like this. There is something about being in nature on a beautiful day that just lifts your spirit! Like the butterflies you want to take flight. I definitely know the peace of mind this young lady is feeling! Love the way the clouds surround the sun. It makes me think of a portal to your happy place. Beautiful job my Friend! Love the view! :o) Nancy
