I really like what you have done here Mark, because I bet it isn't easy to draw old people. The old man looks like he is still in love. I especially like the way this was done in gray hues, and almost wish you had not added a tint of yellow on the old man's jacket.

Needless to say that this is done paying a very good attention to details and with great shadings.

The format is just perfect, and the old couple has got such a fine placement on the paper. Indeed a great looking and well done sharpie drawing.

I now have 7 shades of gray pens..that yellowish gray is called "warm gray" weird name but it gives me another shade of gray. Glad you have enjoyed this and thanks for the awesome review

Hi Mark, I don't know what other people see but I see two things.
The first is when we forget where we put the remote. You can't do anything with the TV without it. Heaven knows I've been there!
The second is when alzheimers or a stroke is involved. Years ago my mother had a stroke and though she was OK most of the time sometimes she forgot who I was. Your image portrays both of those thoughts in my mind.
Love the beautiful expressive detail of your elderly subjects. You created two storylines for this image that fits it well. I think the black and white image powers both stories! This definitely deserves 6 stars!

I am amazed with the details you put on both characters. The background is superb and how you created with Sharpie and Bic pens alone. Beautifully done, thank you for sharing!

The title in this is in one part funny but in another part quite sad,the ageing couple remind you of our parents after being together a long time, and forgetting things, this is well drawn Mark but does make me a bit sad,,,Brian

Brian there is one thing that you may not be aware of that all the New TV's can only be operated by remote. there is no manual buttons on the chasis ..now you see another side of the joke. wink. thanks for the great review

you are welcome yes do know about remotes

Mark, this is awesome to view, this elderly couple is so very well created with such excellent attention to every detail. I like that you only added a bit of color to the man's jacket and left every other part in the shades of grey,
I like the way you posed them, he looks to her for her help in finding his remote, men have a thing for their remotes!
This also tells the story of being together for a very long time and Aging.
Very well arranged and presented! This shows your absolute skill!
This is worth of a six, I'm sorry I don't have one.

Also the New TVs has no manual buttons on the machine. it has to be operated by remote or an app to place on your phone. Now imagine this couple has that Brand New TV! lol..thanks Pat for the great review.

It b is perplexing. I am glad you reached out. Your creation is worth a 7. You amaze me with your art. This one looked charcoal and I had to take a second glance. You spent hours making this. The details are FANTASTIC! I have been here over 10 years and never have I given a 3. You are a dear and helpful friend. When I started here 10 years ago you helped me navigate and settle in as a newbie. I started as new little tadpole and now a frog. 🤣 Life happens but I am glad my review finally got straightened out. I gotta get things ready because tonite here in Alabama it might be a wild one. I got my Ruby red shoes all ready if a tornado hits. 💃🏼

A good looking and amusing image presented here! Wonder which one of those two wants to put the TV on or change the channel. Textures, tones and detail are good. Nicely drawn!
