The planet Earth started with a photo of branches with snow. I used a plug in for Photoshop called Flexify 2 to create the ball shape. I spent two days to learn properly how to create an explosion effect in Photoshop, and this is the first image I post with this. I have used a lot of different textures, and quite a few layers. The explosion effect is 5 layers alone. As you all know our planet is in trouble because of global warming, and I have tried to illustrate this in a hopefully, expressive way.
